Steal This Pitch - Young Marple

INT.     THE PLATINUM SUITE   NIGHT

GENERAL KARKAROV & JANE are kissing on the lavish bedspread. JANE removes her handbag from her shoulder and throws it onto the bed. Two knitting needles and some twine fall out.

Two of KARKAROV's MEN sneak up behind JANE with submachine guns. KARKAROV looks to JANE's bag and smiles.

KARKAROV:

I will never know, why a pretty young thing like you spends so much time with her knitting.

JANE:

What can I say...

JANE grabs the knitting needles and in a flurry of martial art perfection takes out the two henchmen. She then arrives back at KARKAROV, a needle at his neck, his face awash with fear.

JANE:

... I'm old at heart

JANE punches KARKAROV knocking him out.

 INT.     The S.I.S        DAY

The MINISTER walks along a long corridor with JANE and hands her a file.

MINISTER:

Last night Lord Chancey Bridgington was found dead at his manor home. Murdered.

JANE:

Illegitimate son born of a servant during his time in India?

MINISTER:
I'll admit that has been the culprit for the last six cases, but this time [DRAMATIC PAUSE] it might not be.

EXT.      MANOR HOME    DAY

JANE climbs out of a carriage dressed in high class clothes.

MINISTER (V.O):

You'll have to infiltrate their inner circle.

INT.     MANOR HOME    DAY

JANE observes an upper class guest looking shifty

MINISTER (V.O):

You have to leave no stone unturned... and Jane.

JANE looks at MINISTER

JANE:

Yes Sir?

MINISTER:

Try not to cause a to do.

JANE smiles wryly

JANE gets thrown out of a window by a butch serbian butler - JANE hangs off the side of a speeding cart while the driver tries to throw her off - JANE calmly observes the ring of ninjas that surround her - JANE jumps from a river boat as it crashes onto the banks of the nile.

INT.       MANOR HOUSE       NIGHT

JANE approaches the villainous MR VALSENTI as he backs away and points out the window in panic.

MR VALSENTI:

Don't come closer! Standing in that stable are 30 armed guards just WAITING to rush to my aid. 30 highly ruthless and efficient killers tha...

JANE presses a detonator in her hand and the stables explode in a ball of fire and splintered wood. She smiles at the now terrified MR VALSENTI.

JANE:

And then there were none.

A masked stranger and Marple dispatch the last of a roomful of guards. The Stranger turns his attention to JANE.

MYSTERIOUS STRANGER: [French Accent]

I am closing this case Miss Marple, you should stay out of my way

JANE strikes a ninja fighting pose.

JANE:

Hah please. I'll never concede to a frenchman.

MYSTERIOUS STRANGER removes his mask, it's a 20 year old POIROT. He raises his fists.

POIROT:

[DRAMATIC PAUSE] I'm Belgian.
